French Exit     HD720p 96MB
Drama with comedic elements about 60-year-old penniless Manhattan socialite Frances Price (Michelle Pfeiffer) who says “My plan was to die before the money ran out,” but things didn’t go as planned. Her husband has been dead for 12 years and with his vast inheritance gone, she cashes in the last of her possessions and resolves to live out her twilight days anonymously in a borrowed apartment in Paris, accompanied by her directionless son (Lucas Hedges) and a cat named Small Frank - who may or may not embody the spirit of Frances’s dead husband. Imogen Poots and Danielle Macdonald are also part of the cast.
Festival reviews are all over the place. But most of them agree that it's a great role for Pfeiffer.

The Planters     HD720p 71MB
Quirky, offbeat comedy that follows Martha Plant (Alexandra Kotcheff), an awkward telemarketer who’s down and out - sucking at her job and grieving her recently deceased parents. When she finds unlikely friendship in Sadie Mayflower (Hannah Leder), a bubbly vagrant with multiple personalities, Martha discovers having three friends in one may be more than she bargained for. The two women also wrote and directed.
Now available on streaming services.

Herself     HD720p 101MB
Drama in which single mother Sandra (Clare Dunne) escapes her abusive partner with her two young children, only to find herself trapped in temporary accommodation. After months of struggling, she draws inspiration from one of her daughter’s bedtime stories and hits upon the idea of self-building an affordable home. She finds an architect who provides her with plans and is offered land by Peggy (Harriet Walter), a woman she cleans for. Aido (Conleth Hill), a building contractor, appears willing to help, too. But as her past rears its head in the form of her possessive ex (Ian Lloyd Anderson), and as bureaucrats fight back against her independent spirit, will Sandra be able to rebuild her life from the ground up? Directed by Phyllida Lloyd (The Iron Lady, Mamma Mia!).
Will start streaming on Amazon January 8th.

Gunda     HD720p 91MB
"Experiential" documentary that chronicles the unfiltered lives of a mother pig, a flock of chickens, and a herd of cows with masterful intimacy. Using stark, transcendent black and white cinematography and the farm's ambient soundtrack, the director invites the audience to slow down and experience life as his subjects do, taking in their world with a magical patience and an other worldly perspective.
It looks like an artsy film about a day on the farm. But reviews describe it as being something close to mind altering. Now in limited release in the US.

Assassins     HD720p 96MB
Documentary that plays like a thriller about the audacious murder of the brother of North Korea’s Supreme Leader Kim Jon Un in a crowded Malaysian airport sparked a worldwide media frenzy. At the center of the investigation are two young women who are either cold-blooded killers or unwitting pawns in a political assassination.
For those who aren't aware of what that Korean guy is up to when he isn't duping the current US regime leader by exchanging cute letters with him. Now in the limited release in the US.
