Second full trailer for the next Bond movie, currently scheduled for a world-wide release in November. Bond (Daniel Craig) has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright) from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain (Rami Malek) armed with dangerous new technology. Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Christoph Waltz and Ralph Fiennes return. Cast additions are Lashana Lynch and Ana de Armas. Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga (Jane Eyre, True Detective S01, Beasts of No Nation).
Looks like Bond will once again have to deal with a lot of personal issues.
Enola Holmes HD1080p 34MB
When Enola Holmes (Millie Bobby Brown) - Sherlock’s (Henry Cavill) teen sister - discovers her mother (Helena Bonham-Carter) missing, she sets off to find her, becoming a super-sleuth in her own right as she outwits her famous brother and unravels a dangerous conspiracy around a mysterious young Lord. Sam Claflin, Fiona Shaw, Adeel Akhtar, Frances de la Tour and Burn Gorman are also part of the cast. Directed by Harry Bradbeer who directed most episodes of "Fleabag". Once you know this, I think you can see it.
Looks very enjoyable. Will start streaming on Netflix September 23.
Ammonite HD720p 85MB
Romantic drama set in 1840s England, in which acclaimed but overlooked fossil hunter Mary Anning (Kate Winslet) and a young woman (Saoirse Ronan) sent to convalesce by the sea develop an intense relationship, altering both of their lives forever. Gemma Jones, James McArdle and Fiona Shaw are also part of the cast.
I see a potential double bill with Portrait of a Lady on Fire.
The Glorias HD720p 52MB
Short trailer for this unusual biopic about journalist, fighter, and feminist Gloria Steinem, an indelible icon known for her world-shaping activism, her guidance of the revolutionary women’s movement, and her writing that has impacted generations. Four actresses portray Steinem at different ages (among them, Julianne Moore and Alicia Vikander), tracing her influential journey to prominence. The film also introduces a number of iconic women who had a profound influence on Gloria and the women’s movement, including Dorothy Pitman Hughes (Janelle Monáe), Flo Kennedy (Lorraine Toussaint), Bella Abzug (Bette Midler), Dolores Huerta (Monica Sanchez) and Wilma Mankiller (Kimberly Guerrero). Directed Julie Taymor (Frida, Across the Universe, Titus).
Will start streaming on Amazon Prime September 30.
The Argument HD720p 69MB
Relationship comedy in which a couple (Dan Fogler, Emma Bell) get into an argument at their cocktail party that escalates until it brings an abrupt end to the festivities. They and their guests (Maggie Q, Danny Pudi, Cleopatra Coleman, Tyler James Williams) decide to re-create the entire night again and again to determine who was right.
Difficult to say if it will be more silly or funny. According to reviews, it seems to be more of the former. Now available on streaming services.
