Zombieland: Double Tap, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, Gemini Man, Harriet, The Mountain

Zombieland: Double Tap     HD720p 99MB
Trailer for the sequel, in which, through comic mayhem that stretches from the White House and through the heartland, our four slayers (Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Abigail Breslin, Emma Stone) must face off against the many new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors. But most of all, they have to face the growing pains of their own snarky, makeshift family. Cast additions are Rosario Dawson, Zoey Deutch, Luke Wilson and Thomas Middleditch. Again directed by Ruben Fleischer (Gangster Squad, Venom, 30 Minutes or Less).

A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood     HD720p 85MB
Trailer for a timely story of kindness triumphing over cynicism, based on the real-life friendship between Fred Rogers (Tom Hanks) and journalist Tom Junod (Matthew Rhys). After a jaded magazine writer is assigned a profile of Rogers, he overcomes his skepticism, learning about empathy, kindness, and decency from America’s most beloved neighbor. Susan Kelechi Watson and Chris Cooper are also part of the cast. Directed by Marielle Heller (Can You Ever Forgive Me?, The Diary of a Teenage Girl).
As much as I appreciate a positive story in these dark and trying times, this looks like a little too much. In case someone missed it, there recently has been a very well received doc about Fred Rogers.

Gemini Man     HD720p 94MB
Second trailer for an "innovative" action-thriller about an elite assassin (Will Smith), who is suddenly targeted and pursued by a mysterious young operative (Will Smith) that seemingly can predict his every move. Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Clive Owen and Benedict Wong are also part of the cast. Directed by Ang Lee (Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk, Hulk, Sense and Sensibility). It lists six screenwriters and is co-produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.

Harriet     HD720p 103MB
Based on the thrilling and inspirational life of an iconic American freedom fighter Harriet Tubman (Cynthia Erivo). I tells the extraordinary tale of her escape from slavery and transformation into one of America’s greatest heroes. Her courage, ingenuity, and tenacity freed hundreds of slaves and changed the course of history. Leslie Odom Jr., Janelle Monáe, Joe Alwyn, Jennifer Nettles, Clarke Peters. Directed by Kasi Lemmons (Talk to Me).
Unsurprisingly, the current US regime is still so deeply scared of a woman of colour, that it is afraid to put her portrait on the twenty dollar bill.

The Mountain     HD720p 80MB
Visually very interesting looking drama, set against the 1950’s "golden age" of American male supremacy. An introverted young photographer (Tye Sheridan) joins a renowned lobotomist (Jeff Goldblum) on a tour to promote the doctor’s recently-debunked procedure. As he increasingly identifies with the asylum’s patients, he becomes enamored with a rebellious young woman (Hannah Gross) and lost in the burgeoning New Age movement of the west. Denis Lavant and Udo Kier are also part of the cast.
Probably closer to being an experimental movie than following a traditional narrative. But it looks somewhat fascinating. Now in limited release in the US. A different trailer from France: HD720p 6MB
