They took their time but it was well worth the wait. Hi-def quicktime versions of the full trailer for the romantic action-adventure set in northern Australia prior to World War II written and directed by Baz Luhrmann (Moulin Rouge!, Romeo + Juliet, Strictly Ballroom). It centres on an English aristocrat (Nicole Kidman) who inherits a ranch the size of Maryland. When English cattle barons plot to take her land, she reluctantly joins forces with a rough-hewn cattle driver (Hugh Jackman) to drive 2000 head of cattle across hundreds of miles of the country's most unforgiving land, only to still face the bombing of Darwin, Australia by the Japanese forces that had attacked Pearl Harbor only months earlier. David Wenham and Bryan Brown are also part of the cast.
This will be truly epic, no doubt about it. The links for the trailer aren't officially "live" yet so I hope they will stay stable. Additionally, the very good making-of podcasts that have been released since the teaser came out.

Monsters vs. Aliens     HD480p 49MB   HD720p 118MB
First trailer for the next movie from DreamWorks Animation. When a meteorite from outer space hits a young girl and turns her into a giant monster, she is taken to a secret government compound where she meets a ragtag group of monsters also rounded up over the years. Among the actors who will lend their voices are Reese Witherspoon, Hugh Laurie, Will Arnett, Seth Rogen, Rainn Wilson, Stephen Colbert, Kiefer Sutherland and Paul Rudd.
Looks pretty funny though I wonder if anybody at DreamWorks is ashamed because of the things borrowed from Pixar's Monsters, Inc. and The Incredibles.

Cadillac Records     HD480p 44MB   HD720p 108MB
Movie that chronicles the rise of Chess Records (Adrien Brody plays its founder) and its recording artists in Chicago of the 1950s and 60s. It follows the exciting but turbulent lives of some of America's greatest musical legends. Among them Etta James (Beyoncé Knowles), Muddy Waters (Jeffrey Wright) and Chuck Berry (Mos Def).
It all looks pretty familiar but the music surely will be good.

Dean Spanley     .mov 29 MB   .flv 22MB
Comedic drama set in Edwardian England where upper lips are always stiff and men from the Colonies are not entirely to be trusted, Fisk Senior (Peter O'Toole) has little time or affection for his son (Jeremy Northam), but when they visit an eccentric Indian, they start a strange journey that eventually allows the old man to find his heart. During their visit they meet one Dean Spanley (Sam Neill) as well as Wrather (Bryan Brown), a self-described facilitator from the Colonies.
According to reviews not as much fun as one would hope, but nevertheless worth a look given its cast.
