Appaloosa     .flv 9MB   .wmv HD720p 47MB
Western drama centred on a pair of friends (Viggo Mortensen, Ed Harris) hired to protect a lawless town suffering at the hands of a renegade rancher (Jeremy Irons). The arrival of an attractive widow (Renée Zellweger) disrupts their plans. Timothy Spall is also part of the cast. Second directorial effort by Harris after Pollock.
From the time when men were still men.

Role Models     20 MB
Comedy about two salesmen (Paul Rudd, Seann William Scott) who trash a company truck on an energy drink-fueled bender. Upon their arrest, the court gives them a choice: do hard time or spend 150 service hours with a mentorship program. After one day with the kids, however, jail doesn't look half bad. Elizabeth Banks plays a girlfriend, Jane Lynch the director of the program and Christopher Mintz-Plasse aka McLovin is one of the kids.
While Judd Apatow's name is nowhere to be seen we certainly can thank him for this one. Trailer doesn't look outrageously funny but I admit I laughed a couple of times.

Winged Creatures     43 MB
Intense ensemble drama about a group of strangers who form a unique relationship with each other after surviving a random shooting at a Los Angeles diner. The survivors (Kate Beckinsale, Dakota Fanning, Guy Pearce, Forest Whitaker, Josh Hutcherson) find that the meanings of their lives have changed. No matter how much their families and friends (Jennifer Hudson, Jackie Earle Haley, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Embeth Davidtz) attempt to understand, these individuals must follow their own paths to recovery seeking to regain trust in a world that now seems chaotic.
I'm afraid the trailer shouts far too loud "Look at me Academy of Motion Pictures!" for my personal taste. And on a technical note, trailer is in the wrong aspect ratio, so it's best watched with a player where you can adjust the ratio.

A Girl Cut in Two - La Fille coupée en deux     HD480p 30MB   HD720p 89MB
Edit: Added hi-def versions of the trailer.
US trailer for the latest dramatic, erotic thriller from veteran French director Claude Chabrol that, as usual, focuses on class differences. An independent, ambitious TV weather girl (Ludivine Sagnier) is torn between her love of a distinguished author several decades her senior (Francois Berléand), and the attentions of a headstrong, potentially unstable young suitor (Benoit Magimel). An unspoken past between the two men heightens tensions, and though she's initially certain of her love for one them, the see-saw demands and whims of both men keep confusing - and darkening - matters.

Sukiyaki Western Django     12 MB
US trailer for Takashi Miike's (Audition, Ichi the Killer) spaghetti Western homage about two clans battle for a legendary treasure hidden in a desolate mountain town. One day, a lone gunman, burdened with deep emotional scars but blessed with incredible shooting skills, drifts into town. Two clans try to woo the lone gunman to their sides, but he has ulterior motives. Dirty tricks, betrayal, desire and love collide as the situation erupts into a final, explosive showdown.
For better or worse, Quentin Tarantino functions as a narrator in the trailer and he also has a cameo appearance in the movie.
