Death Race, Miracle at St. Anna, Bottle Shock, Diminished Capacity, Clone Wars

It's not easy for me as a German to say this, but I wouldn't mind if they would stop the tournament right now and hand the cup to the Dutch because of their two spectacular wins. Anyway, we will now return to our regular program.

Death Race     HD480p 48MB   HD720p 125MB
Action movie in which an ex-con (Jason Statham) is forced by the warden of a notorious prison (Joan Allen, what?) to compete in the post-industrial world's most popular sport: a car race in which inmates must brutalize and kill one another on the road to victory. Ian McShane and Tyrese Gibson are also part of the cast. Directed by the English answer to Uwe Boll, Paul W.S. Anderson (Resident Evil, Alien vs. Predator, Mortal Kombat).
Explosions, chicks and cars, the usual.

Miracle at St. Anna     HD480p 51MB   HD720p 123MB
Inspiring war drama that chronicles the story of four black American soldiers who are members of the US Army as part of the all-black 92nd "Buffalo Soldier" Division stationed in Tuscany, Italy during World War II. They experience the tragedy and triumph of the war as they find themselves trapped behind enemy lines and separated from their unit after one of them risks his life to save an Italian boy. Cast includes Derek Luke, Michael Ealy, Laz Alonso, Omar Benson Miller, John Leguizamo, Joseph Gordon Levitt and Valentina Cervi. Directed by Spike Lee (Inside Man, 25th Hour, Malcolm X).
Looks like a big production, but inspiring war movies aren't really my cup of tea since. From what I've heard, war rarely is.

Bottle Shock     HD480p 48MB   HD720p 106MB
Now that the movie has a distribution deal, a new trailer for this comedic drama set in 1976. Jim Barrett (Bill Pullman) is struggling to create the perfect chardonnay at his vineyard in the not-yet-famous Napa Valley, where he has jeopardized everything for a dream. His son, (Chris Pine), at first glance doesn't seem to have inherited his father's love for the family business, and the two of them are often found duking it out in the backyard boxing ring. Then there's a British expatriate (Alan Rickman) living in Paris who owns the Academie du Vin and who develops an idea to educate Parisians on the new wines coming out of California. A twist of fate brings them together. Also part of the cast are Rachael Taylor, Freddy Rodriguez, Eliza Dushku and Dennis Farina. The earlier trailer is also still available.
Still looks like a nice little movie.

Diminished Capacity     11 MB
Low budget comedy about a man (Matthew Broderick) who's suffering from memory loss takes a trip to a memorabilia expo with his Alzheimer's-impaired relative (Alan Alda) and his high school flame (Virginia Madsen), where the trio plans to finalized their scheme to sell a rare baseball card. Dylan Baker, Louis C.K. and Bobby Cannavale round up the cast.
Should be enjoyable if you don't expect too much. An interest in baseball (memorabilia) also helps.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars     HD480p 41MB   HD720p 101MB
A second, entirely different trailer for the animated Pokémon Star Wars movie. "On the front lines of an intergalactic struggle between good and evil, fans young and old will join such favorite characters as Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Padmé Amidala, along with brand-new heroes like Anakin's padawan learner, Ahsoka. Sinister villains – led by Palpatine, Count Dooku and General Grievous – are poised to rule the galaxy. Stakes are high, and the fate of the "Star Wars" universe rests in the hands of the daring Jedi Knights. Their exploits lead to the action-packed battles and astonishing new revelations that fill "Star Wars: The Clone Wars." "
How can you differentiate between the real and the cartoon version of Hayden Christensen? No, that isn't meant as a trick question.
