Swing Vote     9 MB
Comedy about an apathetic, beer-slinging, lovable loser (Kevin Costner), who is coasting through a life that has passed him by. The one bright spot is his precocious, over-achieving twelve-year-old daughter. She takes care of both of them, until one mischievous moment on Election Day, when she accidentally sets off a chain of events which culminates in the election coming down to one vote her dad's. Now he has to choose between candidates played by Dennis Hopper and Kelsey Grammer, among their advisors are Nathan Lane and Stanley Tucci.
I'm sure when the movie got green-lighted they didn't expect there would be a never-ending process just to choose the nominee for the Democratic Party and by the time the movie comes out everybody probably will be sick of the election. It still could've been a nice satire but since it's a Disney production the forced emotional music sets in after about two-thirds of the trailer and he whole thing gets more family-friendly.

The Take     HD480p 34MB   HD720p 115MB
Low budget revenge thriller about an armoured car driver (John Leguizamo) struggling to make ends meet for his wife Marina (Rosie Perez) and two kids in East LA's Boyle Heights neighbourhood. But their lives are thrown into chaos after he miraculously survives a violent on-the-job hijacking led by a merciless criminal (Tyrese Gibson) driven by power and greed. Now facing a difficult recovery and struggling with a nasty new temper, Felix becomes obsessed with tracking down his attackers before they frame him for the crimes they committed. Bobby Cannavale plays an FBI agent.

Wanted     HD480p Jolie 23MB   Hd720p Jolie 44MB    McAvoy HD480p 32MB   McAvoy HD720p 66MB
Two trailer-like files from Russia, one focusing on Jolie's character and one on McAvoy's. Both files are with Russian voice-overs but I guess in this case it doesn't particularly matter. Life-action movie based on the graphic novel series by Mark Millar. After his estranged father gets murdered, a cube-dwelling, disengaged slacker (McAvoy) gets recruited into a secret society of assassins. He gets trained by a woman (Jolie) who helps him to unlock his dormant powers.

The Edge of Heaven - Auf der anderen Seite     US 14MB    Europe 11MB
US trailer for the latest quiet drama by German-Turkish director Fatih Akin (Head-On, In July). This time it's about the fragile lives of six people who connect on emotional voyages toward forgiveness and reconciliation in Germany and Turkey.
The movie just last week won the prizes for Best Movie, Best Direction and Best Script at the German Film Awards. It was also Germany's official entry for this year's Best Foreign Language Film. More information about the movie and US release dates can be found here. Additionally, a different trailer version.

The Accidental Husband     HD480p 34MB   HD720p 79MB
The second attempt after a considerable delay to release this romantic-comedy in the US, they even made a new trailer. When talk radio host Emma Lloyd (Uma Thurman) advises one of her listeners (Justina Machado) to break up with her boyfriend (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), the jilted ex sets about getting his revenge by altering digital records so that he's married to Lloyd. She finds out about it when she wants to marry her boyfriend (Colin Firth).
While somewhat better than the first one, available reviews from the UK confirm that unfortunately there isn't too much chemistry between the lead actors. So the selected few of you who think about ogling Messrs. Morgan and Firth should maybe consider a rental.

The Spirit     HD480p 25MB   HD720p 49MB
Proper hi-def encode for the recently posted first short teaser trailer for the big screen adaptation by Frank Miller (creator of 300 and Sin City) of the comic book series created by Will Eisner. It's the story of a former rookie cop who returns mysteriously from the dead as the Spirit (Gabriel Macht) to fight crime from the shadows of Central City.
