Hellboy II, Battle in Seattle, Street Kings, Persepolis, Bangkok Dangerous

Hellboy II: The Golden Army     HD480p 53MB   HD720p 134MB
Second trailer for the sequel. All the main cast members return (Ron Perlman, Selma Blair, Doug Jones, John Hurt, Jeffrey Tambor) and, of course, Guillermo del Toro (Pan's Labyrinth, Blade II, Cronos) once again directs.
Sometimes the official summary says it best: "With a signature blend of action, humor and character-based spectacle, the saga of the world's toughest, kitten-loving hero from Hell continues to unfold ... Bigger muscle, badder weapons and more ungodly villains arrive in an epic vision of imagination. ... He may be red. He may be horned. He may be misunderstood. But when you need the job done right, it's time to call in Hellboy."
Holy cow, this time del Toro is really going all-out. Thankfully, Perlman balances all the creatures with his one-liners.

Battle in Seattle     15 MB
Dramatic movie about what happened in 1999 in Seattle at the meeting of the World Trade Organization. Tens of thousands of activists arrived in Seattle to protest the meeting. What began as a peaceful protest intended to stop the WTO talks quickly escalated into a full-scale riot and eventual State of Emergency that squared off peaceful and unarmed protestors against the Seattle Police Department and the National Guard.
Extensive cast includes Woody Harrelson, Ray Liotta, Martin Henderson, Michelle Rodriguez, Rade Sherbedzija, Andre Benjamin, Connie Nielsen, Isaach de Bankole, Channing Tatum and Joshua Jackson. Directorial debut of Stuart Townsend.
I think I'd very much prefer to watch a documentary about the subject.

Street Kings     18 MB
A redband trailer that shows that this crime thriller will be a very violent and bloody affair. A veteran LAPD cop (Keanu Reeves) finds life difficult to navigate after the death of his wife. When evidence implicates him in the execution of a fellow officer (Terry Crews), he is forced to go up against the cop culture he's been a part of his entire career, ultimately leading him to question the loyalties of everyone around him. Forest Whitaker plays his supervisor, whose duties include keeping him within the confines of the law and out of the clutches of Internal Affairs Captain Biggs (Hugh Laurie). Chris Evans plays his partner, Naomie Harris, Jay Mohr, Common, John Corbett and Cedric the Entertainer are also part of the cast.
Directed by David Ayer (screenplays for Training Day, Harsh Times and Dark Blue), based on a story by James Ellroy.

Persepolis     13 MB
As previously mentioned, there will be a re-release in the US of this animated movie that is the big screen adaptation of the autobiographical graphic novels written by Marjane Satrapi in English with the voices of Sean Penn, Iggy Pop and Gena Rowlands. And since this new trailer from the UK features those voices it seems like the scheduled release there at the end of the month will also be in English.
The movie tells her coming-of-age in Iran during the Islamic Revolution. We see how the people's hopes get dashed as fundamentalists take power - forcing the veil on women and imprisoning thousands. Clever and fearless, she outsmarts the "social guardians" and discovers punk, ABBA and Iron Maiden.

Bangkok Dangerous     HD480p 45MB   HD720p 108MB
Hi-def quicktime version of the previously posted trailer for Nicolas Cage's new action movie in which he plays a hitman who's in Bangkok to pull off a series of jobs where he falls for a local woman and bonds with his errand boy. Directed by twin brothers Oxide and Danny Pang from Hongkong who are remaking their own movie.
