Happening, Visitor, Nightwatching, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Indiana Jones

Many thanks to everyone who took part in yesterday's poll. It was much fun and very enlightening. :)

The Happening     HD480p 35MB   HD720p 106MB
Longer, much different official US trailer for M. Night Shyamalan's (Lady in the Water, Signs, The Sixth Sense) new movie. This time it will be a paranoid thriller about a family on the run from a natural crisis that presents a large-scale threat to humanity. In case you're sensitive towards those things, judging from the trailer, it involves evacuating New York and people jumping off houses. Leading cast members are Academy Award nominee Mark Wahlberg, Zooey Deschanel and John Leguizamo.
You can still make gripping trailers for his movies that's for sure.

The Visitor     HD480p 38MB   HD720p 112MB
Comedic drama about a disillusioned Connecticut economics professor (Richard Jenkins) whose life is transformed by a chance encounter in his apartment in New York City. Through new found connections with virtual strangers, he's awakened to a new world and a new life. Second movie directed by actor Thomas McCarthy who made the very charming The Station Agent a couple of years. Also part of the cast is Hiam Abbass.
Trailer gets very emotional towards the end but reviews from festivals where the movie has been screened so far are very positive.

Nightwatching     16 MB
An official trailer from France for Peter Greenaway's new movie (The Pillow Book, The Cook the Thief His Wife & Her Lover, Drowning by Numbers). An extravagant, exotic and moving look at Rembrandt's romantic and professional life, and the controversy he created by the identification of a murderer in the painting 'The Night Watch'. Interesting choice for the part of Rembrandt: Martin Freeman.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall     27 MB
Redband trailer version from Europe for this romantic comedy in which a devastated guy (Jason Segel, who also wrote the screenplay) takes a Hawaii vacation in order to deal with recent break-up with his TV star girlfriend (Kristen Bell). Little does he know she's travelling to the same resort as her ex ... and she's bringing along her new boyfriend (Russell Brand). Jonah Hill, Paul Rudd, Mila Kunis, Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig are also part of the cast.
After virginity and pregnancy the Judd Apatow/Shauna Robertson production team now tackles separation.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull     UK HD480p 43MB   UK HD720p 70MB    German 53MB
For forensic analysis purposes, the UK version of the teaser. The main difference? In the US trailer version there are some guns digitally removed or altered around the 0:56 and the 1:36 minute mark because of the always amusing MPAA rules that don't allow such things as pointing guns directly at people if you want to achieve a certain rating. I can also offer the German version of the trailer that doesn't have the gigantic stars and stripes flag in it. Make of that what you will.
