Get Smart, Children of Huang Shi, 88 Minutes, Air I Breathe, Meet the Browns

Get Smart     21 MB
First full trailer from the UK for this big screen adaptation of the popular TV series from the 60s. It will stars Steve Carell as secret agent Maxwell Smart, Anne Hathaway as his partner Agent 99, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as Agent 23, Terence Stamp as key KAOS operative Siegfried and Alan Arkin as the Chief of CONTROL. Directed by Peter Segal (The Longest Yard, 50 First Dates, Anger Management).
After the excellent teaser it's probably better to turn down expectations a notch. Still funny but not as much as I was hoping for (another Entrapment/Ocean's Twelve parody scene?).

The Children of Huang Shi     8 MB
Historic drama inspired by true events about a young British journalist (Jonathan Rhys Meyers), who, with the assistance of a courageous Australian nurse (Radha Mitchell) and a Chinese partisan fighter (Chow Yun-Fat), saves a group of orphaned children during the Japanese occupation of China in 1937. Movie re-unites Chow with Michelle Yeoh who plays an aristocratic survivor who befriends the journalist and who has also been displaced by war. Directed by Roger Spottiswoode (Under Fire, Tomorrow Never Dies, Turner & Hooch).
Download of the file can be slow, please be patient.

88 Minutes     HD480p 49MB   HD720p 127MB
Thriller about a college professor (Al Pacino) who, while moonlighting as a forensic psychiatrist for the FBI, receives a death threat telling him that he has only 88 minutes to live. In narrowing down possible suspects, he frantically seeks to communicate with a problem student, an ex-girlfriend, and a serial killer on death row. Cast includes Alicia Witt, Amy Brenneman, Leelee Sobieski, Deborah Kara Unger and William Forsythe.
I posted the first trailer more than a year ago and it looks like it will now get a US theatrical release in April (it only got released here on DVD a while ago) after already being filmed in 2005. Which means it's better not to expect too much and even if you're a Pacino fan maybe wait for a rental.

The Air I Breathe     21 MB    Clip1   Clip2   Clip3   Clip4
Different, now official trailer for this drama based on an ancient Chinese proverb that breaks life down into four emotional cornerstones: happiness, pleasure, sorrow and love. A businessman (Forest Whitaker) bets his life on a horse race; a gangster (Brendan Fraser) sees the future; a pop star (Sarah Michelle Gellar) falls prey to a crime boss (Andy Garcia); a doctor (Kevin Bacon) must save the love of his life (Julie Delpy). Emile Hirsch also has a role. The four main characters bear the name of said four cornerstones.
Despite the cast, reviews aren't particularly positive, it's a January release after all. Limited release in the US starting this weekend.

Meet the Browns     27 MB
Or, to be more exact, Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns. Comedic family drama about a single mom (Angela Bassett) who takes her family to Georgia for the funeral of her father -- a man she never met. There, her clan is introduced to the crass, fun-loving Brown family. As usual, Tyler directs a screenplay based on his own play and also is a cast member.
What can I say, a typical Tyler Perry movie, love him or hate him.
