The Golden Compass     HD480p 5min 99MB   HD720p 5min 243MB    11 Clips   11 Clips
The first five minutes of the movie and two choices for 11 more clips for the movie adaptation of the first story in Pullman's "His Dark Materials" trilogy that will finally be released this weekend. Let me know if you need downloadable links for the clips.

The Oxford Murders     Better 7MB   Worse 6MB   Online
Crime thriller that takes place at Oxford University. A professor (John Hurt) and a grad student (Elijah Wood) work together to try and stop a potential series of murders seemingly linked by mathematical symbols.
Movie is directed by Spanish director Álex de la Iglesia who has something of a cult following because of movies like Crimen ferpecto, Perdita Durango, and Acción mutante. Technical quality of the file isn't very good. You can choose between a slightly better one with a wrong aspect ratio or a worse one with the correct ratio. But at least it's in English.

The Accidental Husband     HD480p 54MB   HD720p 76MB    5min 37MB
Official trailer for this romantic-comedy directed by Griffin Dunne. When talk radio host Emma Lloyd (Uma Thurman) advises one of her listeners (Justina Machado) to break up with her boyfriend (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), the jilted ex sets about getting his revenge by altering digital records so that he's married to Lloyd. She finds out about it when she wants to marry her boyfriend (Coin Firth).
The five minutes of "select scenes" I posted a couple of months ago is also still available. Still doesn't look particularly funny or romantic.

4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days - 4 luni, 3 saptamani si 2 zile     16 MB
Gripping drama set during the final days of communism in Romania. Two college roommates Otilia and Gabita are busy preparing for a night away. But rather than planning for a holiday, they are making arrangements for Gabita's illegal abortion and unwittingly, both find themselves burrowing deep down a rabbit hole of unexpected revelations.
The movie won the Golden Palm this year in Cannes and just this weekend got the prizes for Best Film and Best Direction at the European Film Awards. It's also Romania's entry for the Foreign Language Oscar.

Persepolis     45 MB
A second US trailer for this animated movie that is the big screen adaptation of the autobiographical graphic novels written by Marjane Satrapi. It tells her coming-of-age in Iran during the Islamic Revolution. We see how the people's hopes get dashed as fundamentalists take power - forcing the veil on women and imprisoning thousands. Clever and fearless, she outsmarts the "social guardians" and discovers punk, ABBA and Iron Maiden.
The movie is France's official entry for next year's Foreign Language Oscar, it's also still in the running for Best Animated movie.
