Lars and the Real Girl     HQ 25MB   HD480p 37MB   HD720p 112MB
A relationship comedy (sort of) about a delusional young guy (Ryan Gosling) who strikes up an unconventional relationship with a life-size doll he finds on the Internet. He introduces Bianca to his Brother Gus (Paul Schneider) and his wife Karen (Emily Mortimer) and they are stunned. They don't know what to say so they consult the family doctor (Patricia Clarkson) who explains this is a delusion he's created for what reason she doesn't know yet.
That sure sounds and looks interesting.

Be Kind Rewind     HD480p 48MB   HD 125MB
Trailer for the latest movie from Michel Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Science of Sleep) who also wrote the screenplay.
A man (Jack Black) whose brain becomes magnetized unintentionally destroys every tape in his friend's (Mos Def) video store. In order to satisfy the store's most loyal renter, an aging woman with signs of dementia, the two men set out to remake the lost films which include Ghostbusters, Robocop, 2001 and Driving Miss Daisy.
I'm not sure if the premise of the movie will hold for the whole film but it could be a lot of fun. And they could do a contest to let viewers send in their own movie versions. The possibilties are endless!

The Brave One     HD480p 49MB   HD720p 127MB
A second full trailer for this psychological thriller in which a New York radio host Erica Bain (Jodie Foster) has a life that she loves and a fiancé (Naveen Andrews) she adores. All of it is taken from her when a brutal attack leaves Erica badly wounded and her fiancé dead. Unable to move past the tragedy, Erica begins prowling the city streets at night to track down the men she holds responsible. Terrence Howard plays a dogged police detective. Directed by Neil Jordan (The Good Thief, The Crying Game, Breakfast on Pluto).
I'm still giving the cast and the director the benefit of the doubt that this won't be your average revenge movie but I'm not entirely sure if it's justified.

The Flock     20 MB
Trailer from Japan for this dramatic thriller about a hyper-vigilant employee (Richard Gere) of the department of public safety who, while training his young female replacement (Claire Danes), has to track down a missing girl who he is convinced is connected to a paroled sex offender he is investigating.
Directed by Andrew Lau (Infernal Affairs trilogy, Confession of Pain, Initial D) and yes, that's Avril Lavigne at the end of the trailer. Apparently, despite the names involved, there are some issues with this movie since imdb already lists a director doing re-shoots and it also hasn't attracted a big US distributor.

Beowulf     HD480p 41MB   HD720p 95MB
Hi-Def version of the slightly more revealing UK trailer for Robert Zemeckis' live-action turned into pixels adaptation of the Beowulf tale.

Fierce People     60 MB
Quicktime version of the trailer for this family drama that I wrote about in my previous trailer entry.
