National Treasure: Book of Secrets     HQ 21MB   HD480p 43MB   HD720p 103MB
Already the second trailer for this sequel that will only be in theatres in December. And it seems all the professional voice-over artists were already booked because it has the most horrible voice-over in a long time. I can't imagine that Jerry Bruckheimer will be pleased when he hears this.
Nicolas Cage is once again going on a scavenger hunt, he looks to discover the truth behind the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, by uncovering the mystery within the 18 pages missing from assassin John Wilkes Booth's diary. Diane Kruger, Justin Bartha, Harvey Keitel and Jon Voight return. New to the cast are Ed Harris and Dame Helen Mirren.

We Own the Night     HD480p 45MB   HD720p 116MB    French 19MB    Clip
US trailer for this crime drama set in 1988 about a New York nightclub manager (Joaquin Phoenix) who tries to save his brother (Mark Wahlberg) and father (Robert Duvall), who both work for the NYPD, from Russian mafia hit men. Eva Mendes plays his girlfriend. Written and directed by James Gray (The Yards).
Additionally, the French trailer version and a clip.

Rendition     HQ 36MB   HD480p 25MB   HD720p 50MB
Political thriller in which Egyptian-born chemical engineer Anwar El-Ibrahimi (Omar Metwally) disappears on a flight from South Africa to Washington. His American wife (Reese Witherspoon) desperately tries to track her husband down, while a CIA analyst (Jake Gyllenhaal) at a secret detention facility outside the U.S. is forced to question his assignment as he becomes party to the man's unorthodox interrogation.
Meryl Streep, Peter Sarsgaard, Alan Arkin and J.K. Simmons are also part of the cast. Directed by Gavin Hood (Tsotsi).

The Nines     25 MB
Movie consisting of three episodes in which a troubled actor, a television show runner, and an acclaimed videogame designer find their lives intertwining in mysterious and unsettling ways. Now comes the interesting part, all of them are played by Ryan Reynolds. Hope Davis and Melissa McCarthy also play roles in all three parts. It's written and directed by John August who worked on a lot of Tim Burton's recent screenplays and also wrote Go who also consisted of intertwined episodes.
Even though the trailer leaves you just as confused as the plot summary it seems to be a movie of the always interesting mindfuck genre. It got very good reviews when it screened earlier this year in Sundance and I really hope I'll be able to watch it eventually.

Sugarhouse     18 MB
A dark crime drama from the UK about a drug deal gone wrong. While I don't think the movie itself is very noteworthy, I thought maybe some people would like to see how Andy 'Gollum' Serkis looks like in a very different role.
