Eragon    New HQ version 65 MB  [21 MB]
Edit: Now that the release is official there's also a HQ version of the trailer available.
I think it's almost a year ago that a first promo for this $100 Mio action-fantasy movie surfaced. Back then I thought that we will be treated with regular clips until the movie will finally be in theatres this December worldwide. But there was nothing, only new announcements that the trailer will be delayed, but finally here it is. I hope the link holds because the official release is only tomorrow.
Based on the Christopher Paolini-penned bestselling fantasy novel about a farm boy who learns he is the last of a breed of benevolent Dragon Riders, whose magical powers are derived from their bond with the beasts. Main cast includes Jeremy Irons, John Malkovich, Djimon Hounsou and Robert Carlyle. I'm not familiar with the source material, but so far I'm underwhelmed.

Apocalypto     HQ 20MB   HD480p 49MB   HD720p 111MB
The full trailer for Mel Gibson's upcoming movie. A heart stopping mythic action-adventure set against the turbulent end times of the once great Mayan civilization. As the Maya kingdom faces its decline, the rulers insist the key to prosperity is to build more temples and offer human sacrifices. Jaguar Paw, a young man chosen for sacrifice, flees the kingdom to avoid his fate.
Say what you will but it looks very different than the usual Hollywood fare and still quite interesting. And it will also sound very different because the last thing I've heard is that it will be in Mayan.

Happy Feet     Teaser1 11MB    Teaser2 13MB
Two more teasers, this time from the UK for this highly anticipated animated movie about singing and (tap) dancing penguins. As usual, please beware of the cuteness, especially in the first teaser. Movie features the voice talent of Robin Williams, Nicole Kidman, Elijah Wood, Hugh Jackman and Brittany Murphy. You can the find the full trailer here.

Quelques jours en septembre     7 MB    Clip1   Clip2   Clip3
A conspiracy thriller (and apparently partly romantic comedy) that takes place in the days before September 11, 2001. Movie was shown in Venice this year and got mostly bad reviews. But a cast that includes Juliette Binoche (as an agent with très sexy glasses), John Turturro (as an assassin speaking many languages) and Nick Nolte (you had me at 'Hello') is at least worth a look. Trailer is mostly in French, the same goes for the three clips.

Unaccompanied Minors     21 MB
Children's movie about a group of kids who bond while snowed in at Chicago's fictional Hoover International Airport the day after Christmas, and ultimately create a makeshift holiday for themselves. Directed by Paul Feig who directed a couple of episodes of Arrested Development and the US Office. But don't let that fool you. It probably should best be avoided, especially by minors.
