01:04 pm - Mummy 3, Burn After Reading, Expired, Fireflies in the Garden, WALL•E, Punisher: War Zone The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor HD480p 44MB HD720p 61MB HD1080p 118MB The full trailer for the third movie of the mummy series, this time directed by Rob Cohen (Stealth, xXx, The Fast and the Furious). Explorer Rick O'Connell (Brendan Fraser) has to combat the resurrected Han Emperor (Jet Li) in an epic that races from the catacombs of ancient China high into the frigid Himalayas. He's joined by son Alex (Luke Ford), wife Evelyn (Maria Bello) and her brother (John Hannah). They must stop a mummy awoken from a 2,000-year-old curse who threatens to plunge the world into his merciless, unending service. Michelle Yeoh plays a double-crossing sorceress. And no, Rachel Weisz still isn't in the movie.
Burn After Reading HD480p 34MB HD720p 88MB HD1080p 121MB UK 6MB After the hilarious redband trailer now the "regular" version of the teaser for the new movie from the Coen Brothers. It doesn't contain too much new footage but since it's still far too many months until we'll be able to see the actual movie I still recommend downloading. There's also a UK teaser that I like even better since, while shorter, it's more compact. It's a dark spy-comedy in which an ousted CIA official's (John Malkovich) memoir accidentally falls into the hands of two unwise gym employees (Brad Pitt, Frances McDormand) intent on exploiting their find. And if that wasn't already enough, there's also George Clooney, Tilda Swinton, Richard Jenkins, J.K. Simmons and David Rasche.
Expired 145 MB Interesting looking romantic drama (with some funny bits) about two dark-suited municipal employees doling out parking violations. The film revolves around Claire (Samantha Morton), a kind soul who resents having to enforce the law at all times, and Jay (Jason Patric), an angry Traffic Officer who loves his job, it being the perfect outlet for his anger and frustrations. Illeana Douglas and Teri Garr are also part of the cast. While apparently not always easy to watch given the odd relationship of the couple it got mostly good reviews and is also visually interesting. I've waited a couple of weeks to see if a better encoded version of the trailer turns up (or if the webmaster comes to his senses) but I can only offer this massive-sized version. But the limited release in the US starts this weekend so I wanted to post it now and if you like small movies like this then I can assure you the trailer is worth a look. Edit: NYT article about the movie and its director.
Fireflies in the Garden 26 MB I usually try to avoid posting trailers in languages not a lot of people reading this blog understand but given its high profile cast, here's a German trailer for this intense drama about a family that gets torn apart by an unexpected tragedy. It centres on an author (Ryan Reynolds, who has grown a beard so people believe he can write) who has channelled his painful childhood memories into his novels. With some reluctance, he is flying home for his mother's (Julia Roberts) college graduation. After a lifetime of putting everyone else first, stroking her husband's (Willem Dafoe) massively insecure ego and raising her children in spite of that, it's her turn. But what should be a moment of great celebration turns into a tragic reunion. Further cast members are Emily Watson, Carrie-Anne Moss, Hayden Panettiere and Ioan Gruffudd.
WALL•E 7 MB Feat1 Feat2 Feat3 Feat4 Just a short new trailer. If you don't have to worry about any neighbours then I recommend turning up the volume. Also, a couple of interesting featurettes about the robots, the sound, etc.
Punisher: War Zone 20 MB Teaser for the sequel to that other Punisher movie. After hunting down and killing hundreds of violent criminals, Frank Castle, aka The Punisher (Ray Stevenson), faces his most deadly foe yet: Jigsaw (Dominic West). Directed by Lexi Alexander (Hooligans). Judging from the teaser I'd say, direct-to-video would be very generous. I think we now know why Thomas Jane declined to return.

Comments:
I'm getting more exited about The Mummy from that trailer, it looks like the good fun adventures of the previous movies again. And Burn After Reading I had no idea about, just looks like a really fun fast paced well written movie though... and I cannot adore what they did to Brad Pitt's hair enough.
The Mummy movie looks like some good fun, especially for people with a rare case of Brenda Fraser fixation. ;) The Burn After Reading trailers are the funniest in a long time, I can't stop watching them. I'm slightly getting worried that Pitt's charater might be a little too stupid but the others make it more than up in coolness. Its not too different, but you want to you can find the redband trailer here.

Making a Mummy sequel without Rachel Weisz is just plain wrong!
Yes it is. Though I can understand that had better things to do with her time. |
